Rimmel Apocalips: Lip Lacquers! Worth the Hype?

In Canada, they finally released these Rimmel Apocalips Lip Laquers! I couldnt resist, so I picked one up and picked up the color solstice! This is a 'my lips but better' color.

The product has a satin finish, but dries pretty matte, these are not drying for my lips at all! The staying power of these lip laquers are absolutely amazing!; they last for ages! The color I got is not a bright color, so I thought the color would fade after I drink water or eat, but it seriously stayed after hours and hours!

Overall, I love these products! I will be picking up some more! There are about 13 colors in this range, I will be picking up some more 'my lips but better' and some nude colors! I really love these, I really do recommed these to anyone who wants a lip color that lasts really long, and is really cheap! I got these from Target $5.99 Canadian.

Olay Total Effect Refreshing Citrus Face Scrub

I went to Costco, and I picked up this Olay Fresh Effects Citrus face scrub. I really was hoping to find a scrub that was gentle enough for everyday, and I have finally found it. This scrub smells like oranges, its not super strong where the smell lingers, its not like "The Body Shop; Satsuma Body Butter" Its not even close to being as strong as that. If you haven't smelt that, you're definitely missing out! Go to a body shop asap and go smell t hat body butter or any of their body butters, they are really absolutely amazing!

This scrub is so gentle, but you really do feel it cleaning out your pores, it removes my base makeup, not so much my eye makeup, however, I dont wear eye makeup everyday, I rarely wear it, so this scrub is just perfect for me. I have combination to dry skin, this scrub does not dry out my skin at all! I have use this scrub for the past month or so, and it hasnt broke me out at all. If fact I really do see that my skin is clearer than before. My pores arent as visible, this scrub is so refreshing for your skin. I use this day and night, using it in the morning is so refreshing! After I scrub this into my skin for about 20-30 seconds, I rinse it and I feel this slight tingle on my skin, and it feels so refreshing and nice! This does not over-dry my face at all, which is so amazing for me because most scrubs are to harsh against my face.

When I use this scrub at night, I really feel like my skin is so clean and it really does make me feel so fresh after a long day of school or work. I love this scrub so much! I would recommend this to any skin types, for oily skin types, if you use this, the exfoliating beads arent as packed as like a "St. Ives exfoliating scrub" however, its really nice for just a waking up cleanser! I bought this at costco for $8.99 Canadian.

Comment Below telling me any other facial cleansers! (: Id love to try new ones!

Benefit Porefessional Mini Review

So, I walked into sephora going to repurchase the mascara `They`re Real` and I saw this, so I really couldnt resist! I saw Poreless, minimizes appearance of pores and I had to pick it up! This primer is really amazing. I really do see a difference when I use this primer, I see that my pores are minimized and it really does make my makeup last all day!

It gives me a smooth canvas to work with, and its super easy to apply your makeup. This makes my face matte, and really makes my face so smooth and poreless. This primer makes my face so flawless, and it does make the fine lines disappear. I dont have fine lines myself, but my mom tried this, and she said it really does make her fine lines disappear!

This is a really worth the $30 spent! I dont have oily skin, except my T-zone, so I use this on my T-zone and it really does mattify my face, and make it look like I have little to no pores. This honestly is a splurge purchase, but so worth it! If you want to splurge on something, I really would recommend this primer!

January Favourites

Foundation- Rimmel Wake Me Up Foundation

This foundation is  absolutely amazing! I love how it gives me a nice glow that's so subtle, but is still noticeable! The color range is not the best, but I found my perfect match. The foundation is a light to medium coverage, I wear this to school everyday. Hence why I love how its not a full coverage foundation, this foundation is so light, it doesn't feel like I`m wearing any makeup. This foundation smells so good and it has a anti- fatigue to really make you look awake!

Concealer- Rimmel Wake Me Up Concealer

This concealer is a medium to full coverage for me, I do have pretty dark under eye circles; so it does cover it up pretty well! I don't like the color range of this concealer. Its actually so bad, The color does not look like what it is in the tube, my concealer is a little to dark, so I had to get a lighter color, and that was to light, so I have to use two concealers to get my match my skin.. However, I really do love this concealer, because it makes me look so awake and covers my blemishes my foundation didn't cover!

Blush- Benefit Rockateur

This blusher is one of the best blushers I have bought in such a long time! Its a rose gold blush, this blush gives a perfect natural glow. It looks so amazing on the apples of your cheeks, and slight bringing the blush up to `contour` your cheeks; it looks soo good! I love this blush, I can not say anything bad about this other than the price, this blush retails for $34 (Canadian) However, it is so worth the money, and I love it so much!

Blush- Nars Orgasm

This blush has been a long time favourite! This blush is a pink with gold shimmer that look contouring the cheeks! I have this as a duo from Nars which contains the Nars Laguna Bronzer. This blush is amazing, I have been wearing it so much this month, not as much as the Benefit Rocketeer though.

Bronzer- Nars Laguna

Lately, I have been loving for contouring the hollows of my cheeks, and this bronzer has been the one I have been reaching for every single day this month, I have been trying out the Bourjois Chocolate bronzer, but I have always ended up reaching for this bronzer! There are so many good things I can say about this bronzer but Im just going to end this here!

Highlighter- Benefit Watts Up

This highlighter I got from my birthday present from Sephora last year, and I haven't really tried it out, it is a sample size, and honestly I don`t know why I haven't had this all my life. This is amazing! Its a stick highlighter and you use your fingers to blend the highlighter out when you apply it to the highest point of your cheeks, and it isn't like high beam from Benefit, where it dries so quickly and you have to blend it out as soon as you apply it to your cheeks. This you can leave it and blend it out later, its honestly so easy to blend! Doesn't dry out, you just melt it with your fingers. Its just a amazing product and I will definitely be purchasing the full size when I finish the sample size!

Setting Powder- Rimmel Stay Matte

Everyone has been raving about this product for ages now! So, I`m just going to go into the basics, I love this powder because it keeps me matte all day. It sets my makeup so that my makeup does not budge whatsoever. It is an amazing product! I would definitely be repurchasing this when I finish the whole thing!

Palette- Urban Decay Naked Palette

I love the neutral eye look lately! This palette is perfect for that kind of look! Its all neutral colors, they blend amazingly, and they`re just so creamy and just hands down, amazing! I have a full blogpost about this one product if you want to check that out:
http://www.thaaaaai.blogspot.ca/2013/05/urban-decay-naked-basics-review.html

Primer- Benefit Porefessional

This primer has been amazing! Everyone has been raving about this primer, and I now know why. ITS AMAZING! It seriously refines your pores, and gives you a smooth base, really helps your makeup stay on all day! I love this primer so much, I will be repurchasing this when I run out, and making sure I have a backup of it in my makeup collection!

Lip Combination

Liner: Urban Decay 24/7 Glide- on Lip Pencil- Manic
This lip liner really stays on until the end of the day! I love how it is a 'my lips but better' color too.
Lip Stick: Nars- Damage
This lip stick isnt as opaque, this is a sheer lip gloss, this color is a plumy pink, its a nice color that you can just pop on your lips, you can wear this color with anything! I love this color so much!
Lip Gloss: Rimmel Apocalips- 201 Solstice
These are rimmel lip laquers are amazing! They stay on for ages! This lip gloss, is more like a lip stain, this really does lock into your lips, giving a nice gloss look to it making your lips look bigger and more plump!

Product Review: Maybelline Color Tattoos

The Maybelline Color Tattoos were a really big deal in the Makeup world for Eye Shadow Bases, and I rediscovered them in my Makeup collection a few weeks back. I noticed that since I've bought them in my haul (http://thaaaaai.blogspot.ca/2013/04/haul-from-today-d.html) I havent used it as much, and I dont know why. I think these are great on their own or with another color. I love creating new eye makeup for these products, they just work amazing. I love how it looks in general. I love using 55 Inked in Pink with Stila's Kitten, it looks just amazing! It has been my go to eye look lately, I love how it blends really easily, without much effort at all.

I think this product is very inexpensive for the quality of it. It lasted me a over 14 hours that one day when I had school, then had to go straight to work; I noticed that I didnt need to do any touch up's at all. I dont need to use a primer when using these products, however, if I want the colors to be more vibrant than they already are, I will use a primer. The con I have about these are that they are not very portable, they are pretty heavy; the product is held in a glass "jar"/ container. The colors I have in the picture above are
 #35 Tough as Taupe
#55 Inked in Pink

I do have other colors, however, taking pictures of all of them would take forever! I have a couple of colors that I dont like from this line, however, I just use it has a base for my eye shadows.

What do you think of these products? Comment Below (:

Product Review: Laura Mercier Tinted Moisturizer

This is the best tinted moisturizer I have ever used! I had already loved the Silk Cream Foundation from Laura Mercier, so I was wondering why not try the tinted moisturizer, and I was right, it's just amazing! It gives such a nice dewy finish that's not to overpowering, that it makes you look greasy. This product is good with or without any tools; using your fingers gives you that nice natural look. Using a brush gives you a flawless finish, and a beauty blender gives you an airbrushed look that doesn't look cakey. This tinted moisturizer is a nice sheer coverage, however, its very buildable. You can definitely build more of a light to medium coverage with this tinted moisturizer. I am in the color "Blush" It has a more pinky undertone, as am I.

I think that this is very worth it for $55 Canadian. If you want a beautiful tinted moisturizer that looks and feels just amazing when applied, get this immediately! This is worth your money for sure, its pricey, yes I do admit that, however, it just doesn't feel like any other tinted moisturizer I've ever bought. I have tried the Tarte Tinted Moisturizer; not so good. Whenever I apply the tinted moisturizer by Laura Mercier it gives me a nice fresh feeling on my face, its super hard to describe, however, it feels amazing on the skin in the morning, it wakes you up with a nice fresh cold feeling to your skin!

I love using this as my everyday "foundation" I haven't touched my foundation in a long time, since I discovered this product. This product is not oily at all; if you have oily skin, I'd use it without moisturizer. Since I have dry skin except my nose, I use half the amount of moisturizer, than I would if I were to use a Foundation. This moisturizes your face without giving it that oily feeling. I use a powder on my T-zone because I like a more matte look on my T-zone, while everything else is more dewy, but not too dewy. I have enjoyed using this product very much, and hopefully I wont find any cons about this product!

Anyone have any other suggestions about more tinted moisturizers? Comment Below (:
